If there is a perceived political or social advantage, who wouldn't claim to be an admirer of Ayn Rand and/or Atlas Shrugged?

Look at the current fad of the Tea Party movement. At first it seemed valid but now it seems that it has become politicized for those attempting to rally a constituency.
